It's always fun when Auntie Deej is here!

My sister & brother-in-law and adorable nephew came to town in March & we were all in heaven.
Ivy was very in love with her "Kickin."
She couldn't stop smothering him with love & bringing gifts to him, like bowls from the kitchen cabinet to lay on his face.
or shoving placing his binkie in his mouth.
or giving him 400,000,000 kisses a day.
or talking to him.
During that same time we got a little sneak peak of baby brother's cute profile. He happens to be his daddy's twin!
She makes her "funny face" 400,000,000 times a day, also!
She loved C's swaddle & always needed to wear it. Which also kept us laughing for a good 10 minutes.
She felt so pretty in it and wore it until we made her take it off.
We had some serious snow in February! V was a little unsure. But she did love checking the mail with Nana!
"Bye, Mom!"
Ivy is in LOVE with my sister & no matter how little she has seen her always takes right to her. I assume it is my sister's sweet tender way & just the fact that she radiates good vibes. Ivy adores her. & I love that so much.
Her auntie also adores her. We are lucky ladies to have eachother!

Family trip to the park!
The weather was screaming for a park visit. It was amazing.
I love my mom!
It also screamed for a zoo visit!
V had me laughing the whole time. She is obsessed with animals. & ate this apple like an animal.
She'd pick it up & then lay it in the tray & just go to town. Such a nut.
She marches to the beat of her own drum... seriously.
This little guy was totally tuckered out!

The struggle of the mullet is real.

We love the petting zoo!
Signing "thank you" to aunt Deej for petting the goat!
You, too, Uncle Sean!
Everyone must pet all the goats!
Making sure Uncle Sean got a turn, too!
& back to Daddy.

In love with the goat & the little girl!

Successful day at the zoo!

More pictures. Again.

Life has been good and crazy!
This little one keeps us on our toes pretty much all the time!
She is such a busy body & literally never sits still. If she is sleeping, she is moving...or eating.
She has had a few sicknesses the past month. It started with some sort of cold thing that was no fun & kept her up at night. Then Easter weekend and the week after had a horribly high fever that no medicine could bring down. She's had a rough time, but is such a trooper. The doctor poked her 400 times trying to test her for everything because he was concerned about why her fever was so high (Lingered around 104.7, eek) No sign of a bacterial infection. Poor baby.
I love my sweet happy baby. & she loves bath time!
These two love eachother. Well, Ivy loves the dog. The dog...loves the food V throws on the floor.
Because I am barely able to walk, we can't go outside, because this little one runs away from me... so we play inside all the time unless daddy is home. I honestly feel so horrible about it, I better stop writing about it or I'll cry.  Everyone is making sacrifices for baby brother to be brought into the world!
V is OBSESSED with glasses.
Anyone who will give them their reading glasses makes her the happiest girl in the world. She will wear them around for 20+ minutes straight.
One day probably a month ago, I was gutting V's closet for the 400th time (Weston can tell you all about my crazy nesting obsession from this pregnancy, combined with our quickly growing out of all of her clothes child.) and we had a couple different visitors stop in to read to our little girl! It was such a help, since she usually undoes any progress I am able to make!

Nobody makes this girl happy like her daddy!
I love the bond they share! I know our son will be just as adoring of his loving and kind daddy, also!
Just longing to be outside...

We were waking Weston up one morning (rarely happens, he usually gets up with her,  lucky me!) and she noticed there's a really fun gap between the bed & mattress & I couldn't stop laughing when she buried her face in the pillows to see down there!
I never want to forget these precious toddler legs. Mmm mmm.
My sweet angel babe.

Hoppy Easter!

Easter falls right around Weston's birthday.  He turned 28 this year & we had a really fun family celebration of his birthday! Well, just a few days later, this little bug caught a SERIOUS bug.
Ivy developed a REALLY high fever. Her fever never dropped below 102.7 and it stayed up right below 105 for quite a few days.
Even with Motrin & Tylenol every 4 hours through the day & night.
She was really sick.
No matter how many times Ivy has been sick (not that many), it never slows her down. She still buzzes around like normal. Easter day she woke up and barely moved at all.
She'd never been like that before and it broke my heart.
We took her to the doctor a few days later & they tested her for all sorts of things which she tested negative for. It was some virus or something.

We had to hand her the things from her Easter basket because she did not even have the energy to do it herself. It was sad and pathetic.

Of course the day we take her to the doctor she gets all sorts of energy. HA! Still fevery, though.
I love this baby.
We got lots of snuggles during her sick time!
I loved the snuggles, but was relieved when she got healthy again!
