Aspen Grove

Well, it's been a while, I'll try to keep up w/ this whole blogging thing! Well I've been spending the summer up here in Provo Canyon at Aspen Grove. It's been quite the adventure, I came up here w/ one of my best friends from freshman year, Diana Gardner(she's one of them idahoans :) so great!) Her, Her Brother, Matt, and I all came up here to work. It's been pretty exciting. We found out that we do not get the "oppurtunity" to live outside of the staff lodge in this little shack that has the proximity of an outhouse. It's been pretty awesome, my extreme fear of spiders has subsided just a little bit, not as bad as it once was, though, so there's an improvement? I've had a summer of a lot of firsts (not including all the firsts I had @ BYU last year). Some from Aspen Grove include ice blocking (greatest thing ever) and seven peaks.
This is our Loveshack!
These are signs we made when it was our bosses birthday, we all wore them to work!
Diana and I in front of first falls after a lovely hike!
Staff had a little Christmas in July week! Kelsi, Me, Diana, Dani and the HSM 3 crew posing for a picture! Unintentionally in front of the Provo Temple on the Fourth of July after Fireworks! This is what we look like escaping the byu security guards on a water ballooning escapade! :) It's been a good summer! different from usual, but I enjoy the job, so that's nice! It would be nice to come to Aspen Grove as a camper too! The mountains are beautiful, so big, and it's wild to think about how big they are! There are some awesome hikes around here too, to different waterfalls, its so great! Its so wild that the waterfalls are still goin so strong from snow that's still melting! So wild! The Canyon view from camp! After work in the Loveshack Another Hike to Stewart Falls
